holistic, integrative Therapy for Inner LIBERATION
There’s a whole world of abundance and joy waiting for you. Let’s help you find your way to it.
Therapy for Individuals
I’m here to support you with removing blocks that prevent you from accessing your wants and needs. Individual therapy can help you release control, slow down, feel safe with the emotions that seem the scariest, manage healthy limits, and move toward creating relationships built on mutual respect and care. It is entirely possible to choose yourself—your full, complex, vibrant self—while maintaining balanced, reciprocal connections with others.
Is this you?
You want to feel confident, fulfilled, and at EASE but you find yourself…
Fighting with self-doubt or negative thoughts
Feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands
Worrying about all the worst case scenarios (and there’s so many!)
Carrying emotional pain from the past that continues to impact your present
Holding onto control because you’re scared what might happen if you let go
Struggling to manage stress, anxiety, or burnout
Ignoring or missing signals from your body
Disconnecting from important people in your life
Facing life transitions that feel unsettling or uncertain
lay down your emotional burdens
When our safety and autonomy are threatened, such as through trauma, oppression, abuse, neglect, loss, or interpersonal injuries, we may struggle with overwhelm, anxiety, and shame. Many of us rely on pushing through. We try to get it right, put on a brave face, hold it all down, and bury those feelings way, way down deep. We do these things because maybe it works some of the time, but mostly because we are afraid of what happens if we don’t. Therapy can help you learn that it’s safe to be with what’s here. I’ll be with you along the way, empowering you to feel fully resourced so that you can be present with the painful feelings and transform insight into lasting change.
“[emotions] want to be travelers. let them.”

HOW I CAN HELP YOU: A collaborative, INTEGRATIVE APPROACH
01
With relational coaching, the therapy relationship is used to practice being vulnerable in a safe, consensual context.
02
Through Internal Family Systems (IFS), I’ll help you be with different parts of yourself that are trying to get your attention. These might be parts that are afraid to feel your emotions, release control, and set appropriate limits. Learning to be with those parts of you creates more space so that they don’t overwhelm your system all of the time. We’ll also uplift the parts of you that have been neglected.
03
Somatic therapy can help you connect back with your body. When we move through life with urgency and overwhelm, we often miss important cues from our body to slow down and take care of ourselves in the ways we need.

Here’s some information about what to expect.
-
Standard fee:
$200 per 50-minute session
As of February 2025, I have two available slots for sliding scale between $160-180 per session. Please include in the request form whether you are interested in this scale.
Solidarity / Community Distribution fee:
Clients with access to wealth or financial privilege may consider paying more than the standard fee (between $200 and $250). Additional funds would directly support clients who otherwise cannot afford to start or continue therapy at the full rate. If you are interested in this fee structure, please let me know in the intake form or during our consultation. You can refer to Alexis J. Cunningham’s “Green Bottle” sliding scale model.
Lotus Therapy Fund:
If you are low income and identify as AAPI, you can apply to the Lotus Therapy Fund through the Asian Mental Health Collective. You can select me as a therapist and receive up to 8 free sessions.

The majority of my practice is virtual. As of February 2025, I am offering limited in-person sessions on Fridays in Berkeley for people who agree to wear a well-fitting KN95 or N95 mask.
-
We will meet at least once a week for a 50-minute session, depending on your therapy needs. I do not offer biweekly or monthly services. I believe that consistent, weekly sessions are the most effective way to create lasting change. Meeting regularly gives us more time to build trust and engage in deeper level healing work.

I value your agency and choice. As such, we will collaborative on what therapy approaches work for you. You do not have to be on board with all of the different options available if you do not find them helpful or resonant.

I do not contract with insurance companies. I can provide a Superbill to submit for out-of-network reimbursement on your online insurance claims portal. Please review this policy with your insurance first to find out what your coverage is. Some questions you can ask your insurance:
How much is my annual deductible? How much has been met this year?
What is the coverage for out-of-network therapy services before and after I have met my deductible?
Do my expenses with out-of-network providers contribute to my deductible?
What information do I need to submit for reimbursement?

“Good Faith Estimate” Notice
Under the No Surprises Act (effective January 1, 2022) , you have the right to request and receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of how much your mental health care will reasonably cost. This is especially for clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance to cover the charges for therapy. You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule your first session. It is NOT a commitment to therapy.
For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
